Registration Fees for the Conference


Please make sure to register prior to September 9, 2016.
 
In accordance with the guidelines governing the organization of CHE, the following fees apply:
 
Conference Registration Fees
Members $475
Non-members $600
Nurses / Residents / Allied Health $350
One day only $225
Except for the "On day only package", these fees cover the Friday night banquet, three breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and one dinner (Thursday).

Guest Registration Fees
Guest / Spouse (all meals & banquet package) $250
Guest / Spouse (meals without banquet package) $150
Guest / Spouse (banquet package only) $100
 
All meals & banquet package at $250: These fees cover the Friday night banquet, three breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and one dinner (Thursday).
Meals without banquet package at $150: These fees cover the three breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and one dinner (Thursday).
Banquet package only at $100: These fees cover the Friday night banquet only.


CAGPO Bursaries to Attend the 2016 CAGPO Annual Conference

CAGPO is offering up to two (2) bursaries to 2016 CAGPO members. 
These bursaries will give our members who do not have access to CME funding the opportunity to offset a significant portion of the costs to attend the 2016 CAGPO Annual Conference.
 
Each bursary will cover the following expenses:
  • Registration for the 2016 CAGPO conference (which includes all meals provided at the conference);
  • CAGPO’s annual banquet;
  • Three nights’ accommodation at the conference site in one of our block of rooms (Thursday, Friday, Saturday of the conference);
  • Economy class airfare (refunded to the awardee);
  • Bookings to be done through Agora Conventions & Events.
Maximum value of each bursary will be $2,000.00.
 
Requirements
:
  • Complete our application form by June 30th at the latest and send it to Lynne Savage by email;
  • You must be a present member of CAGPO;
  • Provide proof that your contract or province does not provide CME funding or CME reimbursement;
  • Agree to provide some form of educational activity within your Centre or region within three months of the CAGPO conference
Recipients will be notified by July 15th.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by September 9, 2016 will be refunded, less $100 administrative charges. Please note that the registration fee will not be refunded until after the 2016 CAGPO Annual Meeting.
 
Cancellations received after September 9, 2016 are non-refundable.
 
Cancellations must be in writing and sent to the Conference Secretariat either by fax to 418-658-8850 or email to cagpo@agoracom.qc.ca. If the conference is cancelled for any reason, CAGPO-ACMOO shall not be held liable for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by conference registration.

Please make sure to make your room reservation before September 9, 2016. Reservations made after that date will be offered based on availability and the group rate is not guaranteed.

To make your stay pleasant and convenient, conference organizers have reserved a block of rooms for September 29, 30 and October 1 at the conference venue, the Four Seasons Vancouver.
 
Single or double occupancy (Superior City View Room)                 $225.00/per night
*$30.00 per additional adult.
This group rate will be honoured 3 days before and 3 days after the conference, depending on availability.


These rates are guaranteed upon room availability and do not include provincial and local taxes and fees. Taxes are subject to change without notice. Room reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please reserve early, since there is a limited number of a room available at the hotel. Moreover, all individual reservations are subject to the hotel's cancellation policy.

Self parking is at $20 for the first 30 minutes and then $4 per each half hour. Valet parking is at $48 per day.
Wi-Fi Internet is available on a complimentary basis in all guestrooms and public space.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

To benefit from the group rates, contact the hotel at 1-866-223-9333 and ask the Reservation Department before September 9, 2016. Mention the name of the group "CAGPO-ACMOO 2016 Annual Conference" otherwise, the group rate may not be extended.

Incidentals
Any incidentals expenses (room service, telephone, bar service, laudry, babysitting, etc.) will be the responsibility of the participant and must be paid for upon check out.

You are responsible for any special arrangements (extended stay). Please refer to the hotel contact above in order for you to make these arrangements.

Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements are your responsibility. We recommend that you make your arrangements as soon as possible.
